testing... testing

I always love it when a quilt goes from this...


To this...


Ok, minus the grabby hands tree.  I'm obviously searching for somewhere on the property that I can display quilts and tops for photos!  Let's just cross trees off the list!


This is a soon to be released pattern that I was lucky enough to test for Jennifer of That Girl... That Quilt.  I'm not sure if she has a name for it yet, I'm just calling it diamonds.  I'm really excited about this quilt and I know the pattern is going to be a hit.  It goes together so quickly and smartly!  Don't be fooled by all those scary bias edges.  Starch and Jennifer's clear instructions mean this is really a piece of cake.  Maybe not your first quilt easy, but anyone who's tackled half square triangles is up for this design.

Tomorrow I hope to get a back stitched up and get this quilting!

  8. That's a pretty pattern for sure. Hanging in the tree it reminded me of pinwheels, but in the last picture I saw the diamonds more. Well done!
