These have both been done for a while so last night, when I should have been making dinner, I dragged them outside for a little photo shoot fun.
Up first is the diamond pinwheel quilt, pattern by that girl that quilt. The pattern should be available soon. I'll email Jennifer and find out when. I quilted this using Angela Walters' hooked feather design from her book and it was love!
Next is my Swoon. Started back in October and finally done. Good grief! I don't normally quilt using pantographs (a paper pattern that you trace using the laser pointer on your longarm) but they're fun to do ever so often and I was really stuck with how to quilt this. So, blooming feather by Anne Bright. Looking back I should have done something less fussy. Whatever.
I was just putting the quilts away when Bea came along and walked across the Swoon. I would have been mad except it really was at the perfect spot!
happy weekend,
c
oh well, they need to be laundered anyway, right? The quilting looks great on these. Do you quilt with a domestic machine or a longarm?
