I've wanted to do this for ages, and now I finally have - I've joined do.good.stitches. If you haven't heard of the group before, it's a charity bee organized by Rachel of Stitched in Color. I've signed up as a quilter, which means every 5 months I'll be assigning a block to the other members then sewing up a quilt once all the blocks come in. The other months of the year I'll be stitching up blocks to contribute to the other quilters' tops. Our group is the happiness circle and we'll be donating our quilts to Project Linus and Victoria's Quilts.
Our first quilt is already started, and these blocks will soon be on the way to Marika of Live, laugh, love, sew. She just has to move first!
happy weekend,
c
