Do you wear heels while quilting?

Yeah, I don't normally either.  But I felt like it today.  And I love the photos people take of quilts or blocks with their feet in the frame.  But I'm kind of freaked out by toes.  So, heels.  Ooh, la la!

In other news, look at that baby grow!  These is my hexie charm quilt, and she's a beaut!  She's kind of on hiatus right now because I'm out of fabric.  Not out, out, but I've used a bit of everything I own in her and don't want to duplicate.  Sure I have some old stuff from my 90s brown period, but that stuff, well, that's best kept in boxes.

Anyway, a few more gratuitous shots before I go sweep the kitchen.  In heels. So Betty Draper, I can feel the angst already.

kisses,
C

  4. It looks lovely! I have a thousand or so hexagons basted for a charm quilt., and a couple of hundred sewn together, but I suddenly realised I totally wanted to change what I was doing, and I'm working up to unpicking half of those carefully handstitched seams. Sigh.
