And I'm backish

Sorry about the absence.  We were hit by the flu and just rolling over in bed was quite the effort for a while there.  I did manage to quilt my first real top on the beast last Friday, but I haven't worked up the energy for photos yet.

Not my quilt!  Made by Elizabeth Hartman (Oh, Fransson) and crushed on by me

Have you seen this stunner by Oh, Fransson? I love, love the idea, and think I might steal it for my blocks for this round of the 4 x 5 bee.  Which are due to be sent out mid January.  Eep!  Yeah, I've got to get my hussle on!

6 gird vs 4 grid

So, what do you think, 12" square based on a 4 grid or 6 grid?  I love the look of the 6 grid but I think making 5 of them might just kill me.

If I don't manage to post before then, merry xmas, yo.

  2. i have loved that block since i first saw it. i might do it for my bee month too! and i would say 4 grid. i think it will make it look less busy and the stars would be much bigger.
