Dusty Hunting
So the other day I went to visit a town even smaller than the one I live near and came across a little quilt shop. At first glance it was nothing great, but crouching down to the low shelves I came across some older stuff and got excited. They had almost all of Gypsy Caravan, and obviously the Amy Butler and Heather Bailey gems above.
I got a little carried away picking up prints I hadn't scored when they first came out, and now I'm feeling a little bit guilty. So I'm wondering, should I put some fqs up on etsy? Would they even sell? What do you think?
in a quandry,

You should go back to that little store on the edge of nowhere and buy every single piece they have. Or at least, that's what I'd do. I wouldn't sell it though, I'd hoard it ;-)
ReplyDeletedon't you dare sell it. hoard it or make something, preferably for me! :)
ReplyDeletei just saw that Free Spirit has re-released Freshcut! Quilthome has it all on sale this week!
ReplyDeletei think these will make you very happy in your stash...or backing a quilt, right?
I'm not sure what you should do - depends whether you are able to part with them. The fabrics you showed are really not my usual colours but for some reason I love them!!
ReplyDeleteI think they probably would sell - but surely you can't part with them? You just found them! Perfect for backs of quilts, or just hoarding I'd say.
ReplyDeleteFirstly, never, ever feel guilty over fabric. Secondly, I definitely think they would sell - on etsy, folksy or ebay.
