I think everyone needs this print in their sewing room! And it made me think, how many bobbins do you have? I was talking with Heather about this earlier. She has 4, I have 5. I think I have enough fabric to wrap my entire house, would it kill me to buy a few more bobbins? Apparently yes.

Lol, I have about 45 bobbins - I bought several packs of 10 from an e-bay supplier, and I've nearly run out (possibly too many colours of thread going on here!)
ReplyDeletei have more than 5 and fewer than 15 possibly fewer than 10... i wan to make a new cover for my ironing board too... if we both don't have it done by next week we kick each other!

ReplyDeleteI couldn't manage with only a handful of bobbins. I think I have somewhere between 30 and 40, with maybe 5 empty. I'm teaching myself thread painting though and like to have my bobbin match the top thread, so that's mostly why I have so many.
ReplyDeleteI made an ironing board cover a few months ago out of fleece backed curtain lining..the only trouble is, it was cream fabric and is now not cream fabric any more. Can't bring myself to cut in to my beloved stash for an ironing board cover, though, so good luck!
