prisming

I managed to get quite a bit of quilting done on my prism quilt last night while chatting with my quilting group.  It looks like rain all weekend, so hopefully I'll finish it off by Monday.  Finally, something to link up to Katey's Handmade Parade!

There and Back

I also did a little sewing towards a dresden project.  I'm loving all the projects being showcased by members of the SLC Modern Quilt Guild for the EZ Dresden Challenge and have so many ideas of my own!  I'm not sure if this will become an entry but it will end up as a charity quilt for one of the regional hospitals.  I really have to try to make more of those!

And I just had to show this little darling Bea and I came across on our walk.  (S)he was about the size of a cat and so cute!  Bea and I accidentally scared off mama, but when we came back that way 30 minutes later everything was ok.  Good thing, too, because the last thing we need is a pet deer!

happy friday,

  7. Your patchwork prism looks perfectly lovely! I think the hand quilting will really add a lot too. You seem to also have quite a talent for wildlife photography. What a sweet little fawn! One fall during hiking, I crossed paths with an amazingly tame bull moose. He seemed quite fond of humans and I think he actually would have loved to be someone's pet! :)
