Rose star blocks

I'm having so much fun piecing these, I thought I'd post some shots.  There's nothing quite like hand sewing on cold dark nights.

Throw in bright colours and what's not to love?  I almost wish I'd based mine on a larger hexagon, though.  Some of those pieces are awfully small and keep getting lost in the folds of my lap quilt!

I've drafted a few sizes of the pattern using the instructions from Summerfete, but don't know how to upload them!  I tried google docs, but they were automatically resized and I couldn't figure out how to print them to the correct size.  Hmmm...

  1. Beautiful blocks! What size hexie were they? I thought the same thing, mine were 3 in which I think is what Clare was using, but I think 5 in ones would be a good size. I'm not sure how to upload your patterns, I'm not a tech geek either!
